Job Vacancy

Full-time, permanent position. Office based only.

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary FTE: £20,177 per year

Hours: 35 hours per week

Days & Times: Monday - Friday 9:00am and 5:00pm

Barrie Bookkeeping & Payroll Solutions are looking for an Office Administrator to join our face-past, expanding business due to new contact awards. This is a newly created role due to our increase in work.

The Role

As an Office Administrator, your main duties will include:

  • Initial contact with service user- Explaining direct payments, going through the process and expectations for them.
  • Assisting with direct payment paperwork.
  • Completing an initial costing of their direct payment budget.
  • Explaining employment and payroll procedures for personal assistant.
  • Talking through how to use pre-paid cards.
  • Completing contacts of employment for personal assistants.
  • Budget re-costing if there is a change to their direct payments.
  • Offering support and guidance to any direct payment recipients
  • Liaise with our main office

Skills, Experience and Qualification

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable people
  • Experience of providing information or advice to others or within a customer service environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing adapting your style to suit the audience
  • Ability to manage diary and workload effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to input and maintain accurate data records
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to work flexible and to deadlines
